Our Story

Meet the Pastors

Two hearts, one calling — devoted to teaching God's people what it means to walk in the Spirit every day.

Minister Stanley Butler Jr.

Co-Founder & Minister

Minister Stanley Butler Jr.

Stanley embraced his call to ministry on January 1, 2013, delivering his trial sermon —No More Drama — under Bishop James W. Redd of Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ. After completing three years of study at the Ohio School of Ministry, he continued to grow in leadership and service. In July 2021, at the request of his mentor, Stanley transitioned to Revive Church Hilltop, under the leadership of Pastor Steven Steward, where he served as Youth Minister and led the Altar Call, Prayer Ministry, and Men’s Ministry.

Known for meeting no strangers, Stanley shares the Word through everyday stories and lived experience — humble, passionate, and genuinely committed to people. When he isn’t preaching, teaching, or studying, he works with Columbus City Schools, supporting and teaching children with special needs.

A Business Management graduate, Stanley co-founded Real Talk W.I.T.S. with his wife of 30 years, Leslie, on November 16, 2017. Together, they raised their son, Stanley III.

"Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, for you are with me."

Co-Founder, Author & Worship Leader

Leslie Butler

Leslie's heart is simple: follow wherever God leads. Raised in Aurora, Colorado, she gave her life to Christ at eleven and was baptized in Jesus' name.

Music has long been her language of worship. After singing in the choir, she went on to serve as Choir Director at Philadelphia Deliverance Church of Christ. God later led her to Revive Church Hilltop under Pastor Steven Steward, where she became a worship leader and a women's ministry leader. On April 12, 2018, she stepped into a new calling, teaching the Gospel for the first time.

An author, wife, and mother, Leslie released her debut book, A Tale of God's Favor, in 2017, with two sequels currently in development.
